Gustavia Yacht Club photography contest
Organized by the Gustavia Yacht Club with the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, the first international edition of the best regatta photo contest. The winners each received a prize. As a member of the GYC, I was fortunate and grateful to participate in this event by offering a sculpture for the 1st prize of the Collectivité de St Barthélemy for this contest, to the winner Mr. Gilles Martin-Raget, one of the most famous and justly renowned yachting photographers in the world.
The jury, chaired by Milena Modigliani Perini and composed of 13 members (five women and eight men), six of whom belong to the GYC, is already working on the next edition, whose winners will be revealed in March 2022.

The 10 best photos of the GYC 1st International Photography Competition will be exhibited at the Stelios Foundation Hall, 14 Quai Antoine Ier, Port Hercule, Monaco from Friday 17th to Saturday 25th September. The exhibition which is curated by our esteemed member Jean-Pierre Hennequet is open to the public each day except Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.
An auction will take place on the 23rd of September. 50% of the proceeds will go to the Local Charity Societe de Sauvetages en Mer St Barth.
